Nate’s Description

Today we’re taking it off the couch and into enemy territory… Super excited to write more about my escapades and battles with the bossman! BIG thank you to Matt for helping me with today’s comic… I couldn’t have done it without you, buddy. *tearing up* I’d also like to thank my parents, and GOD. LOL! I’m just kidding, but maybe I should start writing a speech for Award Season…  See you guys again next week, and let me know some other places you think we should go : D !

Additional Context:

This post, Nate’s fourth, and last of his second week online, expands on the cast of characters once more, introducing a location and character who will continue to make appearances in the weeks to come.

Like his Monday post, the appearance of Brian (who remains unnamed in this comic,) drove some later speculation on the existence of his real-world counterpart. Brian, unlike Britney, was likely, however, an amalgam of a few different game store owners that Nate had problems with over the past few years.

One incident was noteworthy:

I’d like to note that less than three comics ago, Nate swore off video game violence as below him, and now is returning full force to be attacked with a weapon as a punchline. I just find it interesting.

With this, his second week concluded.
